Mums’ event gives a few handy hints

Juggling work, life and the challenges of parenting are just some of the subjects up for discussion at a mums’ event next month.

The event, entitled Mum’s the Word, has been organised by national charity Care for the Family, which aims to strengthen family life and help those facing family difficulties. It will take place at The Kings Arms Church on Wednesday, November 7 from 7.30pm to 10pm.

Experienced speakers Katharine Hill and Cathy Madavan, who between them have six children, will share their own experiences of motherhood. Topics covered will include does supermum really exist? And choosing your battles.
