Mumpreneur reaches finals
Mum of two shortlisted for award
A mum of two has been recognised for her entrepreneurial spirit by reaching the finals of The Mumpreneur Awards.
Helen Winder of Stotfold has reached the shortlist for the Best Business Support Award thanks to her commitment to juggling her own business with family life.
She launched her outsourcing company, Office Helper, in 2004, after being inspired by her own parents, who both ran different businesses.
After taking a break from work to raise her children, Helen decided to create a company that would provide support to people like her parents.
As well as raising two children, Helen has run the business while having ongoing health problems and suffering commercial sabotage in 2008.
And she was stunned to find out that she had been nominated for the award.
