Hirsute folks across T&C territory are shaping up their mustachios because the month of Movember starts today!

And this week content editor Ben Raza got into the swing of things with a ringmaster style moustache with help from Pasquale Iannantuono who runs J&P Barbers in Clair Court.

Pasquale said: “Yesterday we had a quite a few people in saying they wanted to get started.

“A lot of them have had the old-style ringmaster moustache. I think Movember is getting more popular, this year it is bigger than ever and everyone seems to know about it. Even the younger ones are doing it, if they can manage to grow on that is!”

Movember is a national event designed to raise awareness and funds for men’s health charities. During the month ‘Mo Bros’ don weird and wonderful facial fuzz and collect sponsorship money. Organisations taking part in this year’s event include the Bedford Blues and Bedfordshire Police.
