An air ambulance flew to the rescue of a man who suffered a cardiac arrest.
Magpas Helimedix was called out at around 12.30pm on Saturday in Bedford after a man in his 50s suffered a cardiac arrest.
The Magpas team provided advanced life support and enhanced A&E level care for the patient, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Crew.
The Helimedix then accompanied the patient to Bedford Hospital in an ambulance.
On arrival at the hospital the man was in a critical but stable condition.
