Man rescued by medics after falling on way home following night out

A man suffered a head injury after falling on his way home in Kempston after a night out.

The incident happened at about 3am on New Year’s Day.

Magpas Helimedix, including Doctor Nick Scott and Paramedic Oliver Robinson, arrived at a residential area in Kempston, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW.

The man, in his 40’s, had suffered a fall on his way home from a night out and suffered the head injury.

The Magpas team assessed the patient, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Officer.

The Helimedix then accompanied the man to Bedford South Wing Hospital, monitoring his condition all the way.

On arrival at hospital, the patient was in a stable condition.
