Man injured in smash

A man has been injured following an earlier road collision today (Friday).

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were alerted to Hillgrounds Road at 11.43am.

EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The man who we believe to be in his 40s received injuries to his head and shoulders and following treatment and stabilisation at the road side by ambulance crews, he was taken to Bedford Southwing Hospital for further care.”
