Man dragged from river

A man has been taken to hospital after he was rescued from a river yesterday afternoon, Sunday, October 21.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to Ford End Road at 1.55pm. A rapid response car and ambulance attended the scene.

EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The man who we believe to be in his 50s was treated at the scene before he was taken to Bedford Hospital for further care.”
