Magpas medics came to the rescue of a teenage girls who was taken ill in Bedford.
Magpas Helimedix Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Sally Boor arrived at a home in Bedford, via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, to treat the girl who had fallen unconscious on Friday evening at about 11.20pm.
The Magpas team anaesthetised the young patient and provided her with critical A&E level care, whilst working alongside an EEAST Ambulance Crew and Ambulance Officer.
The Helimedix then accompanied the girl, in a land ambulance, to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
On arrival at the hospital, the patient was described as in a serious but stable condition.
