RED Rage, descended on Bedford on Sunday in the form of former glamour model turned bodybuilder Jodie Marsh.

Jodie gave an exclusive interview to the Times & Citizen, after competing at the UKBFF bodybuilding competition at Bedford Corn Exchange.

And the star, who is currently being filmed for a new fly-on-the-wall documentary about her bodybuilding career revealed that her next challenge could be professional wrestling.

Speaking at an after show party organised by Bedford-based arm wresting group Armed Combat Ltd, Jodie said: “I never want to stop competing but I would like to give wrestling a go, I think that might be my next step, I want to be like Hulk Hogan. My wrestling name would be Red Rage - The Marshinator.”

And Jodie, who placed fourth in her category at the event, told of how much support she had on the day from the people of Bedford.

She said: “Everyone has been really nice and I have had a really good time.

“I want to carry on doing good things for the sport. My shape is natural and today’s show was not drug tested so it was tougher for me.”

After the competition entrants, their families and friends descended on Spaghetti John’s in Castle Quay for a celebration.

The party was organised by David O’Neill who runs Armed Combat Ltd, a company which promotes the sport of arm wrestling in the UK.

During the evening revellers had the opportunity to pit their arm-wrestling skills against some of the best in the business on a custom made and designed arm wresting table.
