Hunt is on for stolen cat

editorial image

A search has begun for a beloved pet cat which was stolen from outside Tesco in Brickhill Drive this morning.

Owner Alison White was taking her cat Toffee home from the Acorn House vets in Brickhill. Toffee has recently been involved in a road traffic collision and the appointment was to have his stitches removed.

On the way home Alison stopped at the Tesco store and left Toffee outside in his cat carrier for a matter of minutes. But when she returned he was gone.

She said: “I can’t believe I left him and I just can’t believe what has happened. I never thought anyone would take him.”

Toffee is described as stripy tabby of the Bengal tiger breed (pictured). He has recently dislocated his hip and has his right flanked shaved.
