Beds Police are appealing for help in tracing two men in connection with the theft of a man’s bank card in Bedford town centre two weeks ago. The man was followed into the HSBC bank and his card stolen from him after he had made a transaction on the ATM machine.

His card was then used to withdraw £500 from another cash machine outside WH Smiths in Bedford, and an unsuccessful attempt was made to buy a gift card from JD sports for £900.

If you recognise these two men, please contact PC Patrizia Vetere at Greyfriars police station on the police non-emergency number 101, or text the police control room directly on 07786 200011.

Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
