Whipsnade's creature feature activities

Diverse life on the planet will be celebrated as Creature Features launches a week of fun and educational activities at Whipsnade Zoo this half-term, February 13-21.

Visitors can take a close-up view of some of the world's most fascinating and lively creatures.

Interactive talks include a hippo feed with the wallowing giants, a peek at the secretive red pandas around their huge oak tree and a talk on lemurs.

Find out about these creatures' habitats, origins and struggle for survival in the wild.

Activities in the Discovery Centre include origami, colouring, badge-making and keepers introducing small creatures to hold, including stick insects and cockroaches.
