An afternoon and evening of live music is being planned to reunite friends who have lost touch.
A group of care providers who run services for people with learning difficulties are hosting the In Touch event at the Addison Centre, Kempston.
Co-ordinater Andrew Bedwell said: “This is a collaborative effort, with all the care providers in Bedford coming together.
It will offer people a chance to re-acquaint with old friends they may have lost due to the closing of several institutions, such as Bromham Hospital and Bedford’s Barnfield College campus.”
The event, which will be held on Friday, March 28, will feature games and entertainment, a tuck shop and a chill-out area.
It is open to people aged 18 and above who have a learning difficulty, and their carers.
