GCSE RESULTS: Bedford School

editorial image

With a third of overall grades at A*, and nearly two thirds at A* and A, many Bedford School boys are again celebrating today as GCSE results are published.

Individual congratulations go in particular to the 32 with seven A* grades and more, and to Arvindh Sekaran and Kushal Kansagra who scored a remarkable 11 straight A* grades each.

Headteacher John Moule said: “It is good to see such success across a range of subjects. We are particularly pleased that, having taken on the demanding challenge of IGCSE in Science and English, those subjects provided a combined A* and A well above the school average, with biology and physics scoring over 90 per cent at the top two grades.

“This, along with the fact that the A* is the most frequent grade appearing on exam slips proves that our boys can rise to academic challenge. Combining these results with last week’s success, the school continues to thrive academically.”
