“He was the type of guy to show love and respect to everyone” - is how murder victim Isaac Stone has been described by one of his close friends.
19-year-old Steven Dang has spoken out about the devastating loss after Isaac was brutally stabbed to death on the corner of Costin Street, off Midland Road, on Saturday at around 6.20pm.
A 20-year-old man, who is currently being treated in hospital for injuries he received in the incident, has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
But Beds Police believe a number of people may have run away after the attack, and they are appealing for those people or anyone who may know something to come forward.
Steven described Isaac as a “real man” who would make other happy.
He said: “I remember when he used to come round mine all the time and he’d be welcomed by my parents just like he was their own child. We use to walk around before school and after school, even if it was in the pouring rain.
“We looked after each other and helped each other out from deep late night talks to me/him going round each other’s houses just to cheer each other up.
“I won’t ever forget last year when he planned a hotel party for my 18th, even though something happened that night and it put him in a bad mood, he still managed to turn up and be there.
“Isaac is still loved by so many and it’s traumatising knowing that he won’t be here anymore.
“It’s crazy how many people love him, and if you ask me why, I’d say because he was the type of guy to show love and respect to everyone.
“He’d always help people out and guide them in the right direction.
“He was just a real man and would try to go out his own way just to make others happy. I would carry on describing how amazing that guy is, but it would be endless.
“I’m listening to his music as I’m writing this tribute and I can’t believe how much talent he has.
“You’ll always be in my heart and thoughts my brother. Rest in Peace, you’ll be missed by so many and justice Will be served. I love you, sleep well Isaac Stone.”
