A footballer received serious injuries after colliding with another player during a match at the weekend.
Magpas Helimedix was called to the scene at a field near Bedford at around 3.30pm on Saturday after the two men hit while playing a header.
The Magoas team assessed a man in his 20s who suffered head injuries and lost consciousness.
Fortunately, the patient’s injuries were non-life-threatening and the Helimedix concluded the man didn’t need enhanced emergency medical care.
He was then taken to Bedford Hospital in a stable condition in a land ambulance for further assessment and observation.
