Flasher by the Ouse
HAVE you seen a man who has been repeatedly exposing himself in fields near the River Great Ouse over the last two months?
The culprit has been spotted between the river and Cardington Road, and has usually been sitting under a large willow tree.
It is also thought that the man has been exposing himself by the river at St Neots, where a public recreation area runs alongside the water.
The man is described as white, about 5ft 5ins tall, with shaved, greying hair and clean-shaven face. He was wearing a green baseball cap, black jogging bottoms and grey top.
PC James Wildman would like to hear from anyone who has been flashed at by a man matching this description in either of these two areas.
He said: “Often people don’t bother to report incidents of this nature, but it’s important that we do hear from people as we believe this man may have been carrying out offences for some time.
“I’d urge anyone who has been a victim to come forward as we need to build up as full a picture as possible of what has been happening.”
A man has this week been arrested and charged in connection with an offence of outraging public decency.
PC Wildman can be contacted directly at Greyfriars police station on 01234 275143, or through the switchboard on 101.
