Ex-MP picked to win back his old seat

PATRICK Hall has been chosen by the Labour Party to win back his old Parliamentary seat of Bedford and Kempston.

The former MP, who held the seat from 1997-2010, was chosen by local party members on Saturday (June 30) at a meeting held at St Marys Church Hall in Church Lane, Bedford.

This is likely to pit him against Conservative MP Richard Fuller, who currently holds the seat.

Patrick said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity again to speak up for people of Bedford and Kempston.

“I look forward to addressing the real concerns that many feel about this coalition government.”
