Dragons author Cressida Cowell treats junior pupils to book preview and signing
Pupils at Bedford Modern Junior School were in for a treat when Cressida Cowell, bestselling author of the children's novel and film How to Train Your Dragon, visited to talk about her new novel.
The youngsters were lucky enough to get their hands on pre-release copies of How to Fight a Dragon’s Fury, to be released in September, and had the opportunity to have their books signed by Cressida, during the visit on Tuesday, May 17.
Following the book signing, Cressida spoke to the whole of the junior school about her love of writing and the creation of her fictional world of dragons and Vikings. She said: “I was delighted to visit the school - the children had some great questions and are already thinking like writers.”
