Around 150 classic cars and motorcycles descended on the picturesque setting of the National Trust’s Tudor Dovecote and Stables at Willington for the annual evening informal gathering. (Tuesday 5th August).
The backdrop of the magnificent buildings, a legacy of Sir John Gostwick who served under both Cardinal Wolsey and King Henry VIII, provided the ideal location on Tuesday, August 5.
The event saw people arriving with vehicles, giving visitors the opportunity to admire, enjoy refreshments served by local volunteers during a fine evening as regards weather, despite heavy rain in the surrounding area.
Donations to the National Trust were gratefully received, with the last vehicles departing at sunset.
