Do you know dog attack owner?

editorial image

Police are hunting a man who is accused of letting his dog attack a spaniel in Biddenham on Friday (March 16).

The man (pictured holding a lead) was involved in an incident where his dog, a white and tan Staffordshire bull terrier cross, attacked a spaniel named Spot on the footpath around Ouse Valley Golf Club.

Spot’s quick thinking owner, who captured this image, was also bitten, and two good samaritans intervened to help stop the attack.

The spaniel suffered deep bite wounds to his leg and had to be treated by a vet, and although his injuries are not life threatening he will require extensive further treatment. And police are keen to track down the owner of the dog which attacked him.

If you know the identity of this man, you can contact PC Stacey Gudgeon on 07786200011 or call the non-emergency number 101.
