A teenager was robbed as he walked close to Bedford Rowing Club last week.

The 18-year-old was walking along the footpath at around 5.20pm on Thursday, September 20, when he was approached by three offenders who asked for a cigarette.

The offenders then made the victim run away. A short while afterwards he was able to call the police.

All three offenders are described as male and aged around 16 years old. The first offender was of skinny build and wore a dark coloured top, dark tracksuit bottoms and Nike Airforce high top trainers. The second offender was of large build and wore a black jacket and silver/light blue jeans. The third offender was of skinny build and wore a black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
