Did you see fatal M1 crash this morning?
WITNESSES to a fatal crash on the M1 today are being sought by police after three lorries collided.
The incident happened at around 3.26am on the M1 southbound just north of Junction 13 this morning (Thursday).
A Renault arctic lorry was travelling along the M1 southbound, when it was in collision with two other lorries killing the driver of the Renaut.
The driver of the lorry is believed to be a 62-year-old man from Skegness. Family liaison officers are supporting his family at this time.
A full collision investigation is underway and the road is now open.
