Did you see Bedford bar assault?

REVELLERS who saw an assault in a Bedford town centre bar on Saturday June 23 are being asked to come forward.

The incident happened at around 1am inside The Embassy Bar in the High Street where there was a confrontation between four women.

A twenty-year-old woman was struck in the face and fell down receiving cuts and bruises.

Three women were later arrested and taken to Greyfriars Police Station. They were released on bail while the investigation continues.

Investigating Officer Tia Forsythe, said: “We are determined to find out who was involved and why.

“It may be that some people were shocked by what they saw that night and we would urge anyone who saw what was going on, and hasn’t already spoken to police, to contact us.”
