The dedicated team at Bedford’s Citizens Advice Bureau have won praise from the High Sheriff of Bedfordshire, Deborah Inskip, who paid a visit.
Bureau manager Lorraine Gunther showed her around and introduced her to many of the staff.
The High Sheriff said she enjoyed getting a close look at the various services and support on offer to their clients.
She said that Lorraine was giving excellent leadership to the hard working and dedicated team at the CAB.
Mrs Inskip added: “At the current time, while many people are living in such hardship, the work of the CAB is absolutely vital in helping people to access the services they need and letting them know that they are not alone.”
The High Sheriff said that she was very impressed with everyone that she had met and talked with during her visit.
