Hopping, skipping and jumping into a lifetime of dancing fun is the aim of the Dance 4 All event on Saturday.
The day long event, which is open to all ages and abilities and sponsored by the Times & Citizen, takes place at five council-run venues around Bedford from 11am.
Members of the public will have the chance to try out a whole range of dancing styles, from Bollywood to ballroom, as well as watching local groups strut their stuff throughout the day.
With the success of the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, which features Bedfordshire’s own Olympic hero Victoria Pendleton, many will no doubt be inspired to put on their dancing shoes and have a go for themselves.
This year’s event is the sixth of its kind in Bedford and has been organised by the Bedford Borough Council sports development team.
Dance 4 All aims to show the people of Bedford the range of dance activities on offer within the town and give people the opportunity to have a go.
So whether you fancy having a go in The Howard Room, or watching a series of fabulous demonstrations in Bedford Corn Exchange then this is the day out for you.
