Dance school to bust out moves

A shopping centre is welcoming s street dance school which is set to wow shoppers with their impressive skills.

The Harpur Centre is hosting a dance performance by Dance Vybz on Saturday, October 27, between 10am and 2pm.

During the day there will be nine dance crews taking part aged between five and 18.

Shoppers are in for a treat as the crew Kazzum, who made it to the final of Sky’s Got To Dance TV programme, will be making an appearance.

The dance school as a whole recently had great success after being ranked sixth in the world in Las Vegas and ranked eighth in Europe.

The other crews taking part are Innocence, Impact, Artemis, Vixen, Devious, Execute, Notorious and Actros.

The dance school has been established for six years and has gone from strength to strength winning national and international street dance championships.

Sam Laycock, centre manager of the Harpur Centre, said: “We are really looking forward to seeing Dance Vybz in the centre.”
