Curious over Betaboy band bafflement...
Electro pop at Esquires
Described to me by one collegue as 'the S-Club Juniors version of Hot Chip' there is something about this band Betaboy that seems strangely appealing.
So against my better judgement I might just head on down to Bedford Esquires on Saturday (January 30) to check them out.
The band however describe themselves in a way which is not repeatable in a family paper.
And just to give you a taster of that tawdry analogy, it involves Chris De Burgh, disturbing...
So if synth pop is your thing, and I think it might be mine, then see you at Bedford Esquires.
Currently unsigned perhaps in some way down to a devil may care reponse to gigging Betaboy spent most of 2009 tearing up dance floors across England.
Doors open at 8.30pm and tickets cost 5.
