Could you fly rhino protection plane?
Pilots and volunteers are needed to help save endangered rhinos in Africa as part of a campaign set up by a Bedford man.
Frank Spiniello set up Swat Patrol UK last year, after hearing about anti-poaching operations on the African continent.
Swat Patrol’s aim is to support the current anti-poaching organisations by providing aerial assistants, and the new group is also looking for volunteers to help on the ground.
Frank said: “Swat Patrol is concerned with the tough challenges presently facing wildlife organisations in Africa which require urgent aerial assistance with their anti-poaching operations to address their depleting rhino and elephant populations.
“We’re ramping up our efforts to protect rhinos and elephants and we are looking for volunteers to help with networking and marketing work.
He added: “We are also collating details of organisations that may be interested in supporting demonstration and evaluation of surveillance UAV/Drones for use in anti-poaching operations.”
