A baptist church has expanded to another church and re-launched as All Nations Church Bedford.
The former Brickhill Baptist Church that was solely based at Brickhill Drive has now expanded to have another site the other side of town at Bedford Academy.
And both the site churches now go under the united name of All Nations Church.
It’s new motto is one church, two buildings, three services.
Senior pastor Richard Green said: “ We now meet as one church, we still have the same leadership and it’s the same vision behind Brickhill Baptist Church.
“We needed some more space, God has very graciously grown us over the last two years. We started with just one service and then moved to two.
“And now we have had even more people join us, and we wanted to expand the space we have and increase the number of services we hold to accommodate our growing congregation.”
As well as the three services combined the church is also holding Spanish services. It is currently held at the Brickhill site, but there are plans to hold it at the new church in the near future.
Mr Green added: “As a church we have got over 45 nations represented. Quite a few of these are Spanish speaking as have English as their second language.
“We wanted to give them a chance to listen to the service in their own language. It’s also great for them to be able to invite their friends who don’t know English as well as them.”
The church re-launched several weeks ago.
