Child falls through school skylight
Youngster left with gash to side, cuts and bruises
A child was taken to Luton & Dunstable Hospital on Sunday (April 27), after he fell through a skylight.
The boy, thought to be about 12 years old, suffered minor injuries when he fell through the nursery roof of Waulud Primary School in Luton, shortly after 7.30pm.
He had previously been seen jumping on the skylight.
A spokesman for the Wauluds Bank Drive school said: "Unfortunately the skylight fractured and the child fell through into the building.
"The child sustained minor injuries of a gash to the side and superficial cuts and bruises.
"As the child fell through the roof skylight, this in turn activated the alarms, summoning the site agent, who found the child and called the relevant emergency services."
Beds Police were made aware of the incident.
