The nunnly will flow at a Bedford shop this week when a family-run business celebrates a landmark.
Bedford Florists will be marking their 30th anniversary on Saturday by inviting customers old and new in for a special treat.
The business in Castle Road is run by family partners Peter Bratt and Brenda Bratt, Andrea Mahoney and Melanie Bratt. The family started in the floristry business in 1983 with Flitwick Florists, opening Bedford Florists at 158 Castle Road in 1989.
Flitwick Florists was sold in 1994 so the family could concentrate on Bedford Florists and Bedfordshire Balloons as the shop was becoming increasingly busier.
Bedford Florists located to larger premises opposite, allowing continued growth along with a revamp of the website www.bedfordflorist.co.uk and becoming members of The Good Florist Guide.
The shop stocks a large selection of flowers with deliveries of fresh flowers six days a week.They sell Jellycat Soft Toys and will soon stock Charbonnel et Walker chocolates.
Peter said: “Our success has been due to our hard work, quality of flowers, consideration and care towards our customers. We would like to thank our dedicated team of florists and drivers who make us the success we are today.”
The family thanks all customers past and present for their continued support as they celebrate on Saturday, October 5, with a glass of champagne and chocolates at the shop. Saturday opening is 8.30am until 2.30pm. Visit email@example.com
