Police have released CCTV images of two offenders who broke into a Kempston home and stole a laptop computer.

The incident happened sometime between 3.40pm and 4pm on Sunday, August 3 at the property in Loveridge Avenue when the offenders entered the back garden and forced open a bathroom window which set off an alarm. The offenders grabbed a laptop that was in the living room and then fled the property before ‘garden-hopping’ in an attempt to escape.

The burglary was caught on the homeowners CCTV system and Detective Constable Danny Howett is hoping that somebody will recognise the offenders and provide him with a name.

DC Howett said: “Every effort was made by the homeowner to ensure that they would not become the victim of crime but these two individuals appeared determined to commit an offence. The entire burglary has been caught on camera and I hope that somebody will recognise the individuals involved and help us track them down.”

If you have information relating to this incident, contact DC Howett, in confidence, on 01234 275347, the non-emergency 101 number, or text information to 07786 200011.
