Money raised and donated to the Mayor’s Charity will be split three ways.

The charities, that were nominated by Dave Hodgson, the Mayor of Bedford for his 2012 fundraising drive will each receive 1,530.

The Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society, the Kings Arms Project and the Bedford Day Care Hospice will all benefit.

Mr Hodgson said: “These are three excellent local charities, and I am obviously delighted that the
Mayor’s Charity has been able to raise funds over the past year to support their work in the Borough.

“There has been a range of events and activities which have raised funds, all of which will now go to extremely good use.

“I want to thank everyone who has donated to the
Mayor’s Charity or has taken part in activities over the past year, as we look forward to another year of raising funds for important local causes.”
