Uni offers places for professionals in its 2010 programme

January's snow fall may have caused some New Year's resolutions to falter but it's not too late to make a fresh start.

The University of Bedfordshire is offering a range of courses this year to help business people develop their professional skills and jobseekers boost their CVs.

Gaynor Bray, sales and marketing manager for the university's Knowledge Hub, said: "If you are at a changing point in your career, want to prepare yourself for promotion or just want to develop your professional skills, the Knowledge Hub has lots of professional qualifications that could help you."

The university is running internationally recognised project and programme management courses and leadership and management training. It also offers Chartered Management Institute certificates and diplomas and Institute of Sales and Marketing Management qualifications.

Courses start on various dates over the coming months and various funding sources may be available to applicants.

To support new businesses, the university is also offering free start-up lectures, innovation support programmes and networking events and access to research and training programmes.
