More than 80 people attended an Easter fun day held at the Bedford Learning Centre, in High Street, on Thursday, April 17.

Visitors enjoyed hot cross buns, supplied by M&S Bedford, and coffee, with proceeds of over £200 being donated to the Primrose Appeal.

There were quizzes, raffles and a ‘guess the number of eggs’ competition.

The Bedford Learning Centre is part of Bedford College and has been a feature in the town for more than 13 years. It says it has provided thousands of people with much-valued IT user qualifications.

The centre is used by adult learners of all abilities to learn about email, internet and Microsoft Office.

Courses are free to learners on benefits who are seeking work and £20 for those not receiving benefits. Call the centre on 01234 269137.
