Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a vehicle was driven at speed through a village - with its bonnet up.
The incident happened at around 7.50pm on Saturday April 12 when a grey Nissan 350Z was driven at speed through Oakley before being involved in a collision in Lovell Road.
The driver ran away from the scene.
PC Ryan Coomber, who is investigating the incident, is keen to speak with any other drivers or members of the public who may have seen the collision in Lovell Road or may know who the driver was. It is believed the car may have travelled to Oakley from Clapham.
If you have any information contact PC Coomber on 01234 842411, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
