Conkers at the ready - battle has commenced.

Autumn officially landed at the weekend as youngsters took part in a Conker Competition at Pulloxhill School.

Organiser Julia Burkett said: “It went really well, people always enjoy it. Unfortunately this will be our last event.”

Youngster David Burkett was crowned the winner of the under 13s and William Butterworth won the over 13s.

The event raised money for the charity Freedom From Torture.
