Blaze rips through village home
Four homes in Westoning were evacuated last night after a blaze took hold of a roof.
The fire took place at around 10.40pm at a property in High Street, Westoning, and went on for several hours.
The Bedfordshire Fire and Luton Service attended with two pumps from Toddington and one from Ampthill. Am aerial platform was also called to help put out the severe roof fire.
People living in four adjacent house were evacuated as the fire spread to the rest of the home.
