RECORDING time at a cutting edge £80million recording facility is the latest prize on offer at Bedfordshire’s Got Talent, the county’s premier talent competition.

The overall winner of the 2012 competition will win a session at The Grove, a Middlesex University facility in Hendon, North London. And of course they will also get a CD or DVD of the result.

The Grove features the most up-to-date industry standard technology, including two high-definition TV studios, plus six HD cameras and lighting grids along with lighting and HD post-production galleries.

The sound recording studio is also equipped with the latest technology and software ensuring professional quality results.

If you want to sign up to Bedfordshire’s Got Talent then you have until August 26 to get your entry in.

It doesn’t matter if you are young or old, traditional or trail-blazing, we hope to have a full range of the skills and tricks that our readers have to offer.

Last year’s winner was opera singer David Sorrentino, and fellow singer Ashley Green preceded him as the 2010 champion. But we are open to a wide range of performers, with previous entrants including a football freestyler, an accordion-playing pensioner, and much much more.

The competition will take place on September 22 at Bedford Corn Exchange, and prizes will also include a video of your performance, a photo portfolio from Harpur Studio, and the opportunity to perform at the Pride in Bedford awards later this year.

Entry costs £10, or £15 if there are two or more performers together.

For an application form and more details call 01536 356902, email premier.events@ jpress.co.uk or visit www.bedfordtoday.co.uk

The competition is sponsored by Singers Bedford and the Harpur Studio as well as the Times & Citizen.
