Dami must stay - we're not beaten yet!

Join the campaign to keep star student in this country

Stopsley student Damilola Ajagbonna, 19, may be down after last week's devastating news dismissing his application to stay, but he's definitely not out.

The Herald&Post has been campaigning for his right to remain in the country he's called home since he was 11 and in this week's edition there's a letter which we're asking every reader to cut out, complete and send to the Home Secretary.

It's addressed to the Rt Hon Jacqui Smith MP, asking her to use her discretion and grant this decent young man his dearest wish - an opportunity to pay back all he believes this country has given him.

Dami's bid has been backed by church leaders, education chiefs and ordinary people who are disgusted at the treatment meted out to this brilliant but modest teenager.

Here's your chance to see justice done for Dami - simply fill in your details on the letter and send to the address at the top.

Facebook fans can also help Dami by logging on to www.facebook.com, searching for Damilola Ajagbonna and joining the group to keep him here.

And it's still not too late to add your name to our online petition - just click here to find out more
