Car lovers will rally round for show

Vintage and classic vehicles will be on display

Villagers are revving up for an annual car rally all set to go ahead on Sunday, September 5.

Kensworth Vintage and Classic Car Rally will feature 13 classes.

Exhibits will include vintage, post-vintage, classic and American cars, motorcycles, tractors and commercial, emergency, public service and military vehicles.

It is all happening in Dovehouse Lane, Kensworth, opposite the T. C. Feeds site.

And the rally is open to the public from 10am to 5pm.

Lots of other family fun will be going on, too.

There will be craft and 'auto jumble' stalls, a raffle, refreshments, and children's entertainment including a helter-skelter and bouncy castle.

Entry is 2.50 adults, 1 children, and parking is free.

Beds & Herts Vintage & Classic Car Club organises the rally, which is now in its 15th year.

The team says that a good turn-out will ensure that the usual donations can be made to charities in the area, including the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Air ambulance representatives will be attending.

> Anyone wishing to join in the rally can find more details on the organisers' website, www.BHVCCC.co.uk.

Or call chairman Colin Toten on 01582 873460.
