b12-1257 Remembrance Day parade and service, The Embankment, Bedford.

People in Bedford turned out in force to remember fallen soldiers at a Remembrance Sunday service at the weekend.

The Bedford and District branch of the Royal British Legion held two parades on Sunday to remember those who faught for our country in the war.

Crowds lined the streets for the parade and service that was held at the war memorial on The Embankment.

The parade started at the former Eat Fish restaurant and made its way down towards the war memorial.

A service was then held at the war memorial at 11am, which included the laying of wreaths.
