Beacon to be lit at Bromham to celebrate Queen's birthday

The Queen's 90th birthday will be celebrated tonight in Bromham with the lighting of a beacon.

Bromham Parish council has organised the event at Bromham Mill, starting from 6pm.

There will be fish and chips on sale, a bar, children’s entertainment and even a ‘Make a Crown’ competition. Children are welcome to bring their own crown in a bid to win a prize.

The person who lights the beacon will be selected through a free draw.

The light up ceremony will take place at 7.30pm.
