Bedford Academy’s best and brightest were recognised last week.

The top award went to Emma Anderson, who was given the Principal’s Award for achieving seven A*s and three A grades in her GCSEs during the summer.

Other awards included the Judy Place Award for Community Service, which was given to Trisha Harrigan-O’Connor in memory of Judy, a passionate learning mentor, who sadly passed away from cancer.

Abigail Ford and Sanam Harrinanan earned the Sportsperson of the Year and Performing Arts Person of the Year awards, while the Specialism Award went to Suraj Gill.
