CHILDREN’S author Julia Jarman caused a stir with these youngsters when she visited Putnoe Library on Saturday.

The Bedford Borough-based author read to the children at an event organised to coincide with National Libraries Day.

Julia Jarman writes books for children of all ages and her top titles have includes Class Two At The Zoo and The Jessame Stories. The tales are popular with schools which use them during lessons.
