Abiding by the rules at The Pad

Feel the bass in Bedford

When we drew up the rules here at Go! Towers, there were a few things we made sure we were clear on.

Those rules are clouded in mystique and danger, but every now and then we let a few of them slip. So brace yourselves.

Firstly, we are kinda stringent about our basslines. We like them deep, filthy, and we want them to go straight for the jugular.

In fact, if anyone is able to produce music that is described as "youthful exuberance on wax" then they are pretty much home and dry.

Next, we don't know much about dance music - sorry, at least we are being honest - but we know that we like the good stuff.

We like artists who pound their way across the globe, with live shows, remixes galore, and constant radio airplay.

One more thing? Okay, well we want our dance nights to be worth their weight in gold.

If you were to tell us that A1 Bassline was coming to town, for example, we would do no less than demand that there was a mighty supporting bill on offer as well, with the likes of The Dead Girl's Wrong, Boa Boa and Smith Tropical from Dark Party.

Those are the rules, and they will be abided by at The Pad on Friday, May 29.

Doors open at 10.30pm, the night goes on until 3am, and anyone with ID can get in for 5 before midnight.
