A haul of £2 coins and £50 notes have been stolen along with jewellery in a raid on a house in Bedford.
Large numbers of both have been stolen from the house in Honeysuckle Way, off Riverfield Drive in Goldington, during a burglary on Saturday, February 8, sometime between 9.30am and 1.30am the following day.
The thieves prised patio doors off their runners and then searched the property, stealing £600 in £2 coins which were in a jar plus £1,500 in £50 notes.
Also stolen was:
A chunky 18 carat gold men’s bracelet and matching necklace
An Armani watch with a silver analogue face
Ray-ban men’s black sunglasses
A 1970s collector’s item Dunhill cigarette lighter with a gold rim, made of stone.
