Scottish comedian, Danny Bhoy launches his next UK tour this week.

Please Untick This Box sees more than 20 dates with Danny appearing at The Stables, Wavendon on Tuesday, October 7.

Danny’s unique brand of observational humour and natural gift for storytelling has captured the hearts and minds of fans around the globe, and his popularity continues to rise at a meteoric pace. His razor sharp wit has been described as ‘effortlessly funny, and ‘the stand-up equivalent of Bill Bryson’.

Danny said: “I’m really looking forward to going on tour. I thrive off making people laugh. I adore the amount of freedom you have in stand-up and I have the same sense of excitement as I have ever had. I love being on stage and can’t wait to see the fans again.”

Danny began stand-up in 1998 and a year later he won The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award, the biggest national competition in the UK for new comics. He started performing at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2001 where, within a week, he had sold out his entire three-week run and added extra shows and remains a regular at the event.

Danny returned to Montreal festival in 2007, where he was given the rare chance to perform a ten-night solo run. He embarked on his first major tour of Australia with 94 dates.

Danny toured Australia with his show ‘Messenger (Please Do Not Shoot), selling out shows at the Sydney Comedy Festival. He recorded his first internationally acclaimed DVD in his home town of Edinburgh, ‘Live At The Festival Theatre’ in 2012.
