IT’S your very last chance to showcase Bedfordshire’s Hidden Treasures in a picture.
The Times & Citizen’s photo contest, in association with Bedford Camera Club, has already attracted a bumper entry.
But if you haven’t submitted your picture yet, please do so right away – the competition closes at 9am on Monday, March 12.
This competition is an open category for the club’s exhibition in April. All submissions should be on the subject of Bedfordshire’s Hidden Treasures.
Your picture should ideally be taken with the T&C’s distribution area of Bedford Borough and Mid Beds, but any image taken in the county since October 1, 2011, is accepted.
Pictures may be in colour or black and white, and must be emailed in PDI digital format - sorry, no prints will be accepted.
The judges will be the Times & Citizen’s photographic team of June Essex and Tracey Goodacre who will choose a first, second and third in our two age categories - one for over-18s, and one for up to and including 18 (as of March 12, 2012). Please state if you are entering the under-18s category.
The top three images in each age group will be printed and mounted for show at the exhibition and gifted to the winners afterwards.
The overall winners will also see their work displayed to our army of readers in the pages of the Times & Citizen.
All entrants must live in the T&C distribution area - this competition is open to both members and non-members of local camera clubs.
To enter, email your image - no larger than 8mb in size - to firstname.lastname@example.org
Your picture should be attached to the email as a jpeg. Please also include in your email brief details of the photo - up to 100 words - together with your name, postal address and contact phone number.
One entry per person only. Good luck!
